In my mind this morning, I was focused on today’s message. It was to be a conclusion of John 4 v 23 dealing with worshipping the Father “in truth”. I studied and meditated on the scriptures I felt were appropriate last night, went to bed, and fell asleep praising Him in tongues.
I woke this morning, immediately started to worship Him in spirit. I boiled the kettle and while the coffee was brewing went outside to look at the chickens and inspect my vegetable plot, all the while praising Him in tongues. My thoughts were solely upon those verses I shared yesterday:
1 Corinthians 14 v 2 : Speaking to God not man, speaking out mysteries
1 Corinthians 14 v 15 : praising/ singing psalms in the spirit.
1 Corinthians 14 v 17 : giving thanks well.
I sat in the porch drinking My coffee, praising Him, when CoCo our dog limped in dragging his back left paw. Without a thought, I lay my hands on his paw and thanked the Father for releasing the power of the Holy Spirit into his body and for his leg to be healed. All the while worshipping Him in tongues audibly, as I was on my own. (I will update you on Coco’s progress in future messages)
Why am I relating all this to you? — to show how wonderful I am? No!
My original message can wait until tomorrow, this is what I wanted to share with you; I needed to be reminded that our Heavenly Father desires us to worship Him at all times, not just in my prayer time in the morning, but when I am out and about: shopping, walking, cooking, cleaning, gardening and all the things we do during the day.
Like any Father, He desires to be involved in every aspect of our lives. He simply desires us to reciprocate and worship Him when we think of Him during our day. In
John 4 v 21, Jesus relates to the Samaritan woman, “Woman believe me, the hour comes when you shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem worship the Father.”
We are blessed to be living in these hours Thank you Father.
Have a glorious day!
