As I minister to those that contact me by way of the website prayer line; a common request is for deliverance from evil spirits, that the individuals have been told that they possess, by pastors, deliverance ministers and brothers and sisters in Christ.
Let me stress that every case is different, but I listen intently to what they have to say.
There are seven clear, detailed accounts of devil spirit possession in the Bible:one in the Old Testament, five in the Gospels and one in the book of Acts; I compare
these biblical accounts with the information that I receive from the individual concerned and pray in tongues much, asking the Holy Spirit for wisdom, knowledge and discerning of spirits.
At this juncture I must state that as many as 95% are not possessed by an evil spirit, but are actively listening to and digesting the lies of evil spirits that surround them.
To those in this situation I share the following reply that I sent to a brother in Christ. I pray that it will bless you and that you will receive deliverance as you read the scriptures contained therein.
I will follow this sharing with a detailed study of those seven accounts of those possessed by devil spirits in the coming days: as always, the truth of the scriptures dispel all doubt about this subject.

Hello my brother.
Well lt certainly sounds as though you are under attack spiritually. I took my time before answering your message because I wanted to pray and meditate upon His holy scriptures and also to ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom.
You are under attack from familiar (evil)spirits that surround you, but you are not being possessed by an evil spirit that resides in you. I believe that you are tremendously fearful, that, you believe, that experience at the grave opened you up to possession. You sound like you are ensnared by that fear.
Proverbs 29 v 25
“The fear of man brings a snare( trap ): but whoso puts his trust in the Lord
shall be safe.”
I believe that this verse pinpoints your problem and your deliverance. I discern spiritually that you do not have an evil spirit possessing you.
If you proceed to Mark chapter 9 verses 17-27, you will appreciate what possession by an evil spirit looks like. It controls your body at certain times and you are powerless to stop it. It will try to destroy you so that it can then move on to another host. I don’t believe that you are in that situation.
Why you went to that grave, only you know, but afterwards when you realized your mistake, I believe you began to condemn yourself, thus distancing your self from God’s grace and His forgiveness.
We are surrounded by evil, familiar spirits, that are drawn to us when we sin. They observe us and constantly remind us of the mistakes we have made. If you allow these
malicious thoughts of condemnation to remain in your mind, as you have done, of course you will fell unpeaceful, you will have no motivation, think depressing, confusing thoughts because you, by your condemnation of yourself have distanced yourself away from His forgiveness.
The blood of Jesus has washed away your mistake. The Father loves us even when we do things that are contrary to His scriptures.
You must apologize to the Father and thank Him for His gracious forgiveness. He will forgive you lovingly: He will always wipe your transgressions away.🙌
However, those malicious, evil, familiar spirits will whisper to you that you are not
worthy of His forgiveness, that you are a sinner, that He could not possibly forgive you.
We must not allow these thoughts to dwell in our mind, but rebuke them and despatch them from our mind, in His name.
Our Lord Jesus, when tempted by the devil in the desert, rebuked his temptations and despatched them by speaking out scriptures.
Ok. You made a big mistake: we all have at some time, but once we have confessed our transgressions to the Father, and He has forgiven us we must rebuke and despatch any unscriptural thoughts that disagree with His holy word.
I will pray for you my brother, but you are responsible for the thoughts in your mind.
Search the bible for relevant scriptures that you can think and speak out when malicious thoughts enter your mind; just like the Lord Jesus. Hallelujah!🖐️
Romans 8 v 37
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.”
Speak these words out loud when those lies come into your mind.
Romans 8 v 1
” There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus…”
It is a daily battle my brother, but when these familiar spirits perceive that their lies are no longer affecting you, they will move onto some other poor soul.
Prayer
Father, I thank you for my brother, for spiritually cleansing His mind of any unscriptural thoughts. I thank you for your gracious forgiveness becoming a spiritual reality in his thoughts. I thank you for encouraging Him and strengthening, in the days ahead, as he endeavors to lock your thoughts of him into his mind, not those of the evil one. I speak Romans 8 v 11
over his mind and body.
“But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you(yes, that means you my brother), He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken (make alive) your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwells in you.”
Praise Him

We have a choice: we can either believe the Word of truth or the evil ones lies. We can only think one thought at a time. We choose, and consequently we receive the fruits of those thoughts.
